Why I chose JMC: From a very young age I’ve always loved to read and write. By the time I entered high school I was writing poems, songs, and stories for fun. I was a regular at the library and always had a stack of books to read on my nightstand. The more books I read, the more grammatical errors I found and the more annoyed I became. If I could find mistakes as a reader, surely the editor could find them, too! I was also very interested in the structuring of books and how they’re made. That’s when I knew I was meant to go into editing and publishing. My dream began to take shape and for years now, my dream job has been to become a Christian book editor. A few new dreams have been added along the way, but my big dream hasn’t changed.
